What if I’m Intentionally Treated Bad?

Please read Proverbs 22:24
Are you always "given to anger" and "disposed to rage"? In fact, it isn't easy to deal with the hurt and pain that arise when you're a victim of mistreatment. Some in that position lose their self-control. How can you resolve issues?

Think of this; fire is good. Right? Logs burning in a fireplace during a cold winter night can provide much-needed warmth, that’s good. However, what if it's uncontrolled? The flames can quickly spread and destroy the entire house. That's bad. Likewise, uncontrolled anger can cause you to take action that you'll later regret.
Then, how can you control your emotions when you've been mistreated?

SOLUTION:
1.    Analyze the situation and see if you can settle the matter in your heart. Psalm 4:4
2.    Avoid thoughts of paying back "injury for injury." That will make matters worse. It is said: "..."--Thessalonians 5:15
3.    Be quiet and pray to Jehovah about it to be able to let go of resentment. "…" --Psalm 37:7a, 8.
4.    Can you approach the person who hurt you? If that's not advisable, you might benefit by talking to a mature friend   or your parents about how you feel. (Read Matthew 5:23, 24)
5.    Be kind to the one who is purposely trying to harass you. "…" Romans 12:20.

Leave the rest in the hands of Jehovah who will judge…Romans 12:19.
